actually spuds.... I wised up and got out of the AOA last year. I no longer answer to the altizer/aoa stooges. I got sick and tired of hearing all of these officals complaining about the games they were getting, how altizer was screwing everyone, how the aoa board sucks and etc. How they wanted to have their own association and Im backing the new association..... Then when it came time to pick a flag to follow and all of a sudden. Those staunch supporters of change became quite and went and hid under a rock. All because of their fear of losing games. " We dont want Johnny to be mad at us, " its not that bad" I could go on with the pitiful excuses I heard from the sniviling spineless officals who are only doing this for the cash.
So, yeah I find it useful and right on target about some of the officals that plague the aoa.

Albert you make a perfect point.....why isn't the commisioner of the aoa out watching the officials in games and evaluating their performance?

Seems to me he is to worried about getting the great games that are played around the region and not caring about what his fellow officials do or where they travel!! I know quite a few of the referees in that association that aren't to happy with they way they are done.

GC's coach keeps 15 on the roster for a reason. He uses the refs like a towel.

Understood, it is like dealing with the one guy in front of the crowd, finish him and the rest go home.

Spuddy, if you had come on down to the dawg hut tonight you would have seen two of the AOA's worst in action. Shupe and Kuzcko were in a hurry to get out of there during the Appy/Council game. They barely made a call in the second half.

Contrast that with the first game (Jenkins/TW) where they didn't see a call they wouldn't make.

what amazes me is how refs call all over the floor!!! Kuzko was standing back near half court, and shupe was under the basket and kuzko makes a call from halfcourt that i know he couldn't see because of the big guy from council being in the paint!! ball gets knocked out of bounds and kuzko is the one who makes the call...........

thats what i don't understand you have certain areas to watch, when your in a certain position during a game make the calls in your area and i believe that could help the game out alot!

Kuzcko and Shupe were making a living on out of position calls tonight. That play you reference made me shake my head. Happened right in front of Shupe, but he let Kuzcko make the call from 50 feet away.
